This weekend was good, except for a few things. Friday night I hung out with Annette and I felt pretty good. Saturday I chilled around the house and later went to my brother’s newly purchased house. Today, I went to Music & Arts to try out a synth they had there on clearance. It was pretty nice except too much money for me, $699. Later I met Jessica and Andrew at the Greek Festival. It was really fun and the food was delicious, except when I was parking, I was going down a narrow road, with cars going both directions and cars parked on both sides. So while I was trying to maneuver down this narrow area, a car’s mirror scraped against my door and made a scratch going across the entire car. FML. So now my parents are pretty mad and I know it’s my fault and stuff, but idk. Stupid shit…
I’m so ready for summer. I know this is what everybody says around this time, but I genuinely and positively need summer now. I am so ready to go to the beach and make money and hopefully get a synth soon. I am really excited about college and I am especially excited that Duquesne (my top choice) has an awesome lab with keyboards and audio software. Except I really want to get my own synth and get experience with making music and experimenting with sounds. I’ve had a few in mind, which I’ll display below in the following order- Novation X-Station 25, Novation Xiosynth 25, Alesis Micron, and Korg Kaossilator. I just need to try them out and figure out which one fits my needs more.
