I haven’t posted in a long time since I’ve been busy doing nothing. I guess to update, I got into college. I was accepted at Duquesne University for nursing and I’m going there. Woooo I have my summer job set up! I will be a cashier/block leveler at Giant, which means working the register and sometimes making the shelves so that they are easily looked at by the people who stock them (my job will be to organize the rows of cans/boxes, essentially). And if that doesn’t sound good, the pay does! $11.75 per hour! Hell yesssssss

- The new Au Revoir Simone album is really goodddddd - I went through my closet today and got rid of like, 50% of my clothes - I might not go to the beach this weekend because Joey got stung by a bee on his ear and it’s pretty bad v_v - I am so tired today. btw just got back from visiting colleges in Pittsburgh yesterday. I visited Duquesne and I drove by Carnegie Mellon. Duquesne was fantastic. The music building is really nice and they have a ton of great facilities (recording studio, piano labs, computer labs equipped with good software, etc). Simian mobile disco was saturday night. it was so good :o the opening bands that I saw, Triobelisk and Feadz, were also realllllly good. Um, no. MGMT is actually not nearly as good as ANY of the hype has suggested. I am by no means a new listener but I just think MGMT is extremely overrated and does not nearly rank with the likes of Midnight Juggernauts, Ladyhawke, etc. Yes, Kids and Electric Feel are catchy but they are by no means ‘original’ and ‘ground-breaking’.
